Description: Created by David James Armsby. facebook.com/davidarmsbyartist This animated short film is a direct sequel to my previous animated short film, Merry Madness. A terrible monster haunts a teenage girl. Every day the monster comes closer and closer but she has no intention to stop it. Even though the creature keeps her awake at night, gives her horrible nightmares and will likely tear her apart one day it has been with her for half of her life and is part of who she is. This short film is about depression and the dangers of overly romanticising it. It's somewhat hypocritical of me to make a film with this kind of moral considering my previous work but that'll be covered more in the making-of. I've always wanted to make a surreal horror short film. I love making surrealist/dreamlike artwork and imagery and I had a lot of fun playing around with those elements in this short film.
